We are working diligently to ensure that we’re doing everything possible to keep our customers safe during this time of extreme uncertainty. We have closely partnered with the CDC, FDA, and local officials for guidance while navigating these evolving circumstances. The CDC recommends, for the next 15 days, that gatherings of 10 people or more be canceled or postponed to guard against the Covid-19 virus. Therefore, we have proactively made the decision to offer a “to-go” option for our wedding cake tastings to help combat the spread of COVID-19.

Wedding cake tastings – First, if you choose to come in for a cake tasting which is offered booking your complimentary tasting online form, OR you can choose our “virtual” cake tasting option which means…

You will get your wedding cake sample tray “to-go” and we will schedule a same day Facetime (or FB) conference call with you and will go over all the details and pricing just like in-house tastings. Our to-go option is available for $25 and delivery for additional $25 (within a 20 mile radius) which will be refunded (except delivery cost) if you place an order and pay your deposit. A 72 hour notice is required.

  • Cake orders – We are still offering cake orders for all our customers so please don’t hesitate to place an order for your upcoming event. In case the 15 day distancing window will be extended, we can postpone your date if necessary without losing any deposits.
  • Cancelation Policy – Overall, due to the nature of our business, all orders are subject to our cancelation policy.  Usually, none of the remaining balances are transferable to any other products or services but, due to unusual circumstances of the current Coronavirus, we are making an exception to provide a store credit of all funds paid if your order is canceled in less than 30 calendar days prior to pick up or delivery.

Your cancellation will be processed as follows:

  1. If your order is canceled within thirty (30) calendar days prior to delivery or pick up, you will be refunded all monies paid except $100.00 non-refundable and non-transferable deposit and any custom work. (Boxes, sugar flowers, toppers etc.)
  2. If your order is canceled in less than thirty (30) calendar days prior to delivery or pick up, you will be responsible for 50% of the original total cost.
  3. If your order is canceled in less than fourteen (14) calendar days prior to delivery or pick up, you will be responsible for 100% of the total original cost.

The news surrounding COVID-19 is constantly changing so we’ll be keeping you updated as we adjust and pivot accordingly. At Just A Bite, health and safety isn’t a set of processes and procedures, it’s part of our culture. In addition to our industry leading food safety protocols, we’ve taken additional precautions. These include: increased sanitization of high-touch, high-traffic areas; elevated frequency of personal hygiene requirements; and a tamper evident packaging seal for mobile pick-up and delivery orders. Customers can also leave instructions to request contactless deliveries.
